Behind the scenes at Gourmet Wanderlust - a sneak peak into our hamper making process.

We are super busy in Safety Bay with a massive corporate Christmas order currently underway. Does anyone know if Santa's elves are available to assist? Great working conditions - apply within!

First we add the wool wood to ensure the products are nice and comfy

I love to fill the bottoms with a quality wood wool. It looks so rustic and helps to secure the products.

It has been lots of fun designing the hampers and ensuring that the Ultimate Foodie Gift Hamper will bring a smile to who ever is lucky enough to receive one. The beautiful gift baskets are a generous 40cm x 30cm, so lots of room to add our full sized goodies.

We have also been designing Christmas baskets too as part of the corporate order. So festive and jolly!

We try to use robust and reusable wicker hampers to avoid more empty boxes in our customers homes. Our hampers are great for storage after all the goodies have been consumed.

I had so many empty boxes from our suppliers. Yikes! As you can see the kitchen was a bit crazy but it's all part of the creative process.

We wrap the hampers in glossy cellophane and tie with a ribbon to add an additional wow factor. Images coming soon!
