Hubby & I were lucky enough to head to the Good Food & Wine Show in Perth at the weekend. We opted for the Wine Lover ticket x2, as well, you guessed it, we are pretty fond of the fermented grape juice.

We arrived into swarms of foodie's and wine lovers, throngs of people eager to sample and sip the outstanding local produce available here in Western Australia.
From the onset, the vibe was teeming with life, and humming with pleasure seekers. The stall holders worked tirelessly in the exhibition venue, ensuring every potential customer got to try their industrious creations.
It was challenging to get near any of the cheese stalls. People were elbow to elbow, hoping for a taste of locally produced fromage. Most stalls were much the same - bustling with endless hives of activity.
Our strategy was to seek out some quality local wineries to connect with and secure some glorious local wines for our gift hampers. And of course, sample some yummy treats that would compliment our hampers.
Our tickets allowed us exclusive access to ''Under the Counter'' wines that were reserved for the serious wine lovers.

We sampled many amazing wines from all over Australia, and we focused a lot on Western Australia wineries. We tried every fruity, acidic, oaky, tannic, sweet and full bodied wine as part of our extensive research! Let's just say our palate's got a full work out during the event.
We aren't wine connoisseurs by any means, but we do know what we like and we have high standards on what wines we will hand select for our gift hampers. Our selection policy is simple - we have to love the wine ourselves. We refuse to compromise and will only add wine we would be proud to gift to a dear friend.
Watch this space! We can't wait to unwrap the wines and delicious treats we have hand selected for your enjoyment and delicious indulgence.

Do keep in touch for updates on when our gift hampers will be launched. Thank you for supporting a local family business in Western Australia.
