Best Restaurants Rockingham
Rockingham's culinary scene is bursting with flavour, offering a diverse array of dining options that cater to every palate. From seaside eateries to hidden gems, let's explore the cream of the crop in Rockingham's restaurant landscape.
Our Top Picks for Foodies;
The Knock, Foreshore, Rockingham
For an exciting new dining experience, check out The Knock. This restaurant has made a splash on the Rockingham scene with its wholesome, fresh dishes and friendly vibe. It is our go-to eatery with amazing views looking onto the ocean at the Rocky foreshore.
We believe what makes it stand out is the attention to detail and highly trained staff who truly want each customer to have a wonderful meal. It was previously Sunsets for many years. Situated in a prime location on the Foreshore, the new owners have transformed this beautiful spot into a bustling hive of activity, with cheerful locals enjoying their meal out with their wine glasses refilled with ease.
This is ran by passionate people who love their community and it shows! Our favourite is the chicken scaloppini in a beautiful creamy sauce served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. They always do a mean fillet steak and daily fresh fish options. The Knock is popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's busy, so best to secure a table if you are in Rockingham. Highly recommended from us.

Rustico's, Foreshore, Rockingham
The Rustico Tapas & Wine Bar stands out as a culinary beacon, offering a Spanish-inspired menu that's as vibrant as its atmosphere. Their small plates are perfect for sharing, allowing you to sample a wide range of flavors in one sitting.
Our favourite is the sherry mushrooms cooked in a sweet sherry cream and we also can't stop ordering the roast pork belly. They have a good selection of wines too.
It has recently changed management and is navigating this change with some service delay challenges. The food is still delicious, so definitely worth giving them a chance and allowing them grace at this time. We hope they can continue to provide a unique experience in Rockingham as it has always been a popular option with the local people for special occasions.
Chandlers Kitchen, Foreshore, Rockingham
Another excellent choice for a delightful meal is Chandlers Kitchen, known for its chill vibe and creative takes on classic dishes. The staff are again all nicely trained and the food is fresh and high quality. It is mostly a breakfast and lunch venue but is open in Summer for night time meals at the foreshore.
We feel like this place is worth a go as they consistently deliver quality and fresh meals. We love their healthy smoothie's and delicious breakfast options. A great breakfast/lunch choice but also excellent for a night time meal listening to the ocean nearby.
Azacca Kitchen, Safety Bay
We also love Azacca Kitchen which is based in Safety Bay - about 10 minutes drive from the main foreshore of Rockingham.
This hidden gem is a must visit when down in the Rockingham area. The staff are all lovely and understand good service.
The owners are passionate and care about providing quality, fresh meals to their customers. They design innovative meals every few months to incorporate what's in the season. Amazing!
There cocktails are just too good! I am obsessed with the coconut rum cocktail. Their prawn taco's are next level good, and their burgers are so tasty...you honestly can't go wrong as everything is fresh, innovative and delicious. Love this place - open for lunch and dinner.
